1. What cookies and browser storage are

Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser. Sites can also use similar browser storage (local storage and IndexedDB). This policy covers all of them.

2. What we use

NameTypePurposeKept for
auth-userCookieKeeps you signed in between page loads. Set only after you sign in.7 days
firebaseLocalStorageDbIndexedDBStores your sign-in session (Google Firebase Authentication).Until you sign out
firebase-heartbeat-databaseIndexedDBTechnical data used by the Firebase sign-in library to report which version is in use.Persistent
nuxt-color-modeLocal storageRemembers the light or dark theme.Until you clear it
ph__posthogCookie + local storageOptional. PostHog analytics and session recording. Set only after you click Accept in the cookie banner.1 year
__ph_opt_in_out_Local storageRemembers your Accept or Decline choice in the cookie banner.Until you clear it
screebly:thread:…Local storageKeeps your conversation with the report assistant on that report. Only set if you use it.Until you clear it

All of these are strictly necessary for a feature you use, or remember a choice you made, except the PostHog cookie, which is optional and only set after you click Accept in the cookie banner. Until you accept, or if you decline, PostHog counts visits without any cookie or stored identifier and never records your session.

3. Third-party content

Our fonts are served from our own servers, so viewing screebl.ai sends nothing to Google Fonts.

Reports that include a map block load map tiles from Mapbox. Mapbox receives your IP address and may store a small technical identifier in your browser. Other pages do not load Mapbox.

4. How to control them

You can change your analytics choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. You can also delete cookies and site data from your browser settings. Signing out removes your sign-in session. Blocking these items entirely will stop sign-in and some features from working.
